If you prefer a brown and green map use the map seed, delete the string, and change the terrain segmentation to very low. WebYou can create one fairly easily by adjusting some of the new game parameters (which is why you don't see a lot of map posts here unless someone finds something truly rare like an island start). I'd suggest: Increase starting area (makes biters start further away from you, gives you more time before they come to chew).

Starting at small peninsula at south, largest attack come from south-west (7 o'clock) where you can build towers accross the watter to shoot incaming biters. WebThere is no way to get an exchange string from map editor maps. The map exchange string only contains the settings (frequency/size/richness) and seed of the map and there is no way that any of these settings will produce the same map that you edited in the editor. That's a shame.

I usually use it to make my own custom settings. I set it up how I want it, start a game, save it and then grab the exchange string. When I want a new game with those settings, I just pop in the string then remove the seed. in any ways i canWebHelp please something has gone wrong.
