WebGrow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT) is a citywide summer jobs program that employs young adults between the ages of 14 and 24. By providing early exposure to the world of work, we plan to enhance educational, work readiness, and leadership skills for thousands of youth in Detroit. WebIn partnership with the city's Grow Detroit's Young Talent program, KGD employs a team of youth to work alongside our farm staff for 6 weeks July through mid- August to learn the skills that it takes to grow their own food! Youth work 20 hrs per week and receive a stipend of up to $1200 for completing all summer activities.
